The SAT
DBRX can be the monitoring station for remote SAT
units. It can store a detailed database corresponding to each remote
SAT unit. When a call is received
at the monitoring station, and while it is being answered,
the SAT DBRX displays the number of the calling SAT
unit and the information identifying its location. There is no time
wasted asking the callers to describe their location.
The SAT
DBRX keeps running a transaction log of all calls received.
It also provides a serial printer output to either log each call,
or to print the entire transaction buffer. For installations where
the SATs have the Auto-Answer
capability, the SAT DBRX offers an easy way of calling (speed
dialing) each remote SAT for monitoring or for verification.
The SAT
DBRX can be easily programmed from an IBM XT style keyboard,
or from its own keypad.
