The TEC
VIII and AdvanTEC access control system offers an 8 name
electronic directory that is a flexible, reliable and economical
way of providing access control to a variety of applications.
Four (4)
card readers or keypads can complement the telephone entry function.
A single TEC VIII / AdvanTEC can control up to 4 entrances
or exits. A variety of options may be ordered initially or literally
"plugged-in" in the field long after the system has been
installed.
TEC VIII
can be programmed according to the customer's needs via PC with
RS232 or with a modem using the latest Selcom
95 Windows based software, or directly from the front keypad.
It has extra protection built-in against electrical surges, heat
and humidity, and rough treatment. TEC VIII comes in a handset
or hands free configuration with or without a weatherhood and with
a choice of attractive decorator colors.

- Modem allows programming remotely from a PC. Remote programming can be accomplished on-line, or by uploading / downloading of data.
